Tour 1: Villages & Traditions of Hue – Cycling & Craft Experience (17km)
Highlights: Cycling, Ho Chi Minh's family home, folk painting in Sình Village, lotus flower craft in Thanh Tiên, local lunch and foot bath.
Your tour guide will meet you at your hotel and take you to the bike pickup location by car/minivan. From there, you will cycle through peaceful villages (La Y, Duong No, Phu Mau), following the Pho Loi River to visit the family home of President Ho Chi Minh, where he once lived with his family members during his teenage years in the 1890s.
You'll gain a deeper understanding of the hardships of Vietnamese mothers at that time, visit a village communal house, and explore No Market.
Continue biking through Phu Mau Village to Sinh Village, where you'll have the opportunity to learn how to print paintings on Do paper — a traditional Vietnamese technique dating back over 700 years.
After saying goodbye to Mr. Phuoc, a folk painting artisan in Sình Village, you'll ride to Thanh Tien Village, where you can learn how to make paper lotus flowers — a traditional craft of Hue.
Then our guide will take you to a local home to rest, foot bath, and enjoy lunch in a local family.
The tour concludes with a return to your hotel by taxi. End of program.
