Tour 2: Heritage Trails & Huong River Boat (16 km)
Highlights: Cycling, Ho Chi Minh's family home, folk painting in Sình Village, scenic dragon boat ride on the Huong River.
Your tour guide will meet you at your hotel and take you to the bike pickup location by car/minivan. From there, you will cycle through peaceful villages, following the Pho Loi River to visit the family home of President Ho Chi Minh, where he once lived with his family members during his teenage years in the 1890s.
You'll gain a deeper understanding of the hardships of Vietnamese mothers at that time, visit a village communal house, and explore No Market.
Continue biking through Phu Mau Village to Sinh Village, where you'll have the opportunity to learn how to print paintings on Do paper — a traditional Vietnamese technique dating back over 700 years.
After saying goodbye to Mr. Phuoc, a folk painting artisan in Sình Village, then your guide will take you on a scenic about 45-minute dragon boat cruise along the poetic Huong River back to Hue city. You will return to your hotel by taxi. End of program.
